Solution summary

For the given communities sharing similar issues, the group that took the initiative to present water pollution in each respective area proposed the given solutions. Most important of which are proper waste management, following with stormwater management to reduce runoff rainwaters, plastic water reduction, clean-up drive, additional accessibility on waste outlets, sanctions on violators of improper waster disposals, and rebuilding the creeks cemented so that further debris cannot contaminate the area. These solutions can all be possible also with the coordination of each community's LGU's involved.

Smart water technology will be the provided solution from Libelium’s partner companies. The joint project’s main goal is to predict harmful water levels for water treatment facilities. This way it can provide reliable data, which can be used to conduct further remedies regarding the management of the water waste system around the area. Occurring cost reduction and minimizing human error.

Solution summary

“Drone on the Volga” is a project designed and developed by Airalab, equipped with Libelium technology, located at the largest water reservoir in Eurasia at the Volga river. This technology is used to measure water pollution of the area, to determine its water quality and provide necessary data to have a reference for further improvements regarding water consumption and water sanitation planning around the area.
